Founded over 30 years ago, Pickering Reading Circle began with a vision to support children’s literacy and numeracy skills. Our motivation has always been to foster a love of learning and build confidence in young learners, ensuring every child has the tools they need to succeed.

Pickering Reading Circle started as a grassroots initiative, driven by passionate volunteers who recognized the need for educational support in the community. With a commitment to nurturing foundational skills, we began offering tutoring and mentoring services that would change lives.
